Jolly Roger
I've roamed the sea with Easton's crew,
Since he took my ship off Baccaleu
We plundered, stole and killed for gain
From Turks Gut to the Spanish Main
The English coast we roamed at will
And stole from good King Jamie's till
Till Nottingham sailed with his men of war
To get our heads for his castle door
But wind and wave leave no trail behind us
And where we're going they can't find us
Cause it's -- Hey ho, Hey ho,
It's off to Newfoundland we go
Over the banks in fog and snow
Under the Jolly Roger
From Bristol harbour we were bound
With Spanish gold all loaded down
Nottingham sent a frigate out
When we saw the Jack we came about
They chased us down from Bristol Bay
Cross the channel to Calais
They fought us down the coast of France
Their cannon made our rigging dance
But a powder blast ripped their planks asunder
So, we drank their health as they went under
And it's -- Hey ho, Hey ho,
It's off to Newfoundland we go
Over the banks in fog and snow
Under the Jolly Roger
Under the Jolly Roger
Under the Jolly Roger
